Deku Inspired Makeup Tutorial! // My Hero Academia Series Part 1

Hello and welcome to another blog post! I am super excited to share with you this blog post because today we are starting a new Makeup Tutorial Series! I had so much fun with doing each of the Hogwarts House I wanted to expand and do more! If you have been following my blog for a while you know that I am a complete anime nerd and have been since I was young! I used to blog about anime all the time but with my revamp of brand/blog, I have been leaning towards blogging about makeup instead of anime. Doing these types of blog posts combines my love for makeup and anime and gives me the best of both worlds! So this series I thought I would take inspiration from one of my favorite animes and that is My Hero Academia! I plan on doing five of these makeup looks and the first one is everyone’s favorite hero Deku! So if you would like to see how I created this Deku inspired makeup look just keep on reading!

1. Base Done

Just like my other blog posts, I am already starting with my base done so that includes foundation, concealer, powder, bronzer, brows, and eye base. I am weird and don’t add blush and highlighter until after my eyes are done.

2. Pack and Blend Green

Going into the Morphe 35B palette I am packing the dark green color on my lids with a dense packing brush and then blending and blurring the edges with a blending brush.

3. Blend in Black

Going into the black shade I am using that same blending brush and blending the black into the dark green but only on the outer part of my lid.

4. Add White Liner

I got inspiration from his Quirk One From All so I am taking the Kat Von D 24 Hour Super Brow in White Out and a small liner brush and lining my eyes like I would with eyeliner. I love this product because it is so creamy and glides on so easily.

5. Add Red to Liner

Now I am going into the red color from the 35B Palette and with a super small packing brush, I am packing that on that white liner.

6. Add White Line on Red

Then going back to the White Pomade and that same liner brush I am adding a line on top of the red to give it the neon look.

7. Add Liner

Moving to the waterline I am adding a black eyeliner to my waterline…

8. Smoke out Waterline

… and smoking out the liner with the dark green color from the palette.

9. Add Mascara and Lashes

Prepping my lashes for falsies I am going in with mascara and then adding falsies. These lashes are from Bombshell Lashes in the style Queen B.

I also took this time to add blush which is from Anastasia Beverly Hills and highlighter which is the Anastasia Beverly Hills X Amrezy Highlighter. Which you probably guessed already since it’s my favorite highlighter.

10. Add Freckles

One of my favorite features about Deku is his freckles so of course, I wanted to add that to this makeup look. I am taking a brown felt tip liner from Sephora and adding dots to my cheeks and nose and then pat them out with my finger to make them look more natural.

11. Add Lipstick

For lipstick I am using a Velour Liquid Lipstick from Jeffree Star Cosmetics in the color Androgyny.

12. Setting Spray and Done!

Add some setting spray, fix that hair and you are done with this look!

Conclusion

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial as much as I did create it! Have you watched My Hero Academia? To be honest I haven’t watched season 3 yet because I am waiting till it all airs so I can binge watch it all at once! So please don’t spoil anything for me until I watch it! From what I do hear from my friends it is an awesome season and it kills me to wait but I know it will be worth it! Who are you excited to see me create a makeup look from? I’m already brainstorming ideas for future inspired looks and I can’t wait to share them with you! Until then I hope you have a wonderful day/night and I will see you in my next blog post! PLUS ULTRA!
